No arrests yet for Aurora mine shootings

No arrests have yet been made in connection with the Aurora mine shooting but police said on Friday they are investigating four charges of murder.

Four illegal miners were killed in an underground shaft at Auroras Grootvlei Mine on the East Rand two weeks ago.

Former Big Brother contestant Brad Wood – who heads security at the mine – was underground at the time of the shooting with two guards and two mine captains.

Sources have told Eyewitness News that Wood may be personally responsible for the shooting.

The polices Noxolo Kweza however said information is sensitive at this stage.

“The investigation is continuing. We are currently investigating four counts of murder and five attempted murder charges. I cant reveal much. When we are ready to do so we will,” she said.

Numsa employees march through Sandton

Thousands of motor industry workers were set to march through the Sandton city centre on Saturday morning over a wage dispute.

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa Numsa is demanding improved conditions of employment and what it calls “decent wages”.

Around 5000 union members are expected to set off from George Lea Park at around 9am and march to the headquarters of Business Unity South Africa to hand over a memorandum of demands.

The march comes as the Johannesburg Labour Court granted Numsa permission to march on Friday night after Johannesburg Metro police initially refused the request.

Numsas Castro Ngobese said this is their employers last chance to avert a full-blown strike from Monday.

“Since wage negotiations have collapsed we strongly believe that before we embark on a full blown strike from Monday, it is important that we use this march as part of sending a strong message and warning to the employer,” he said.

Panjo due to get two new playmates

Panjo the tigers owner Goosey Fernandes said on Friday he has bought two new big cats and cannot wait for them to arrive at his Limpopo game farm.

But he said he has battled for weeks to get the government to issue him an import permit to move the animals from Gauteng.

Panjo shot to fame a month ago after escaping from a bakkie and spending two nights on the prowl.

Fernandes said he is eager to bring his new tigers Apollo and Alice home but has spent two weeks trying to secure an import permit.

He said he went to court to get his transport permit, has had his property inspected and is ready to move the animals.

Fernandes said Alice is a four-and-a-half year old Bengal tiger who will be Panjos mate.

Apollo is a 300kg Siberian tiger who will be a tourist attraction on the game farm.

The Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism confirmed it received the permit application and was applying its mind.

AntiAfrikanerHatespeechLABOUR_minister Mdladlana Membathisi called Zille a witch

black-African leaders who point out their enemies as witches thus give a direct order to kill these witches

Above is Mdladlana Membathisi, the ruling troikas current labour minister, who threatened a black revolution if companies didnt stop hiring white workers under contracts in an attempt to get around the affirmative-action laws”. This ANC-initiated law bars all but just a few whites from the labour market. He also publicly cursed Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille as a witch during a speech at the unveiling of a monument speaking only in his native language isiXhosa. In black African cultures people who are accused of being witches often are publicly burned. Membathisi was quoted by Dispatch journalist Lubabalo Ngcukana as saying in isiXhosa:”Igqwirha iyohlala iligqwirha”, which, directly translated into English, means “a witch will remain a witch”. Mdladlana  said a “witch” would never change and slammed the young black voters who voted for the DA in the recent polls. The attack by Mdladlana occurred at around the same time when Zille also was attacked publicly by  ANC Youth League president Julius Malema who called her a “racist little girl” saying: “She Zille, the racist little girl, must remember that Zuma is her boss,” Malema said, according to Sapa.”Helen Zille must report to Zuma about the Western Cape the racist girl has not won all of them must call President Zuma,  President,” Malema said.

source: Witchcraft and SA policing by Riekje Pilgrim: Leiden University African Studies Centre: On 24 January 2001, Tin-myne police were called to a local village where three elderly women were dragged from their homes by an angry mob and torched accused of being witches responsible for killing three of the four children of local resident Pauline Monone the children had been struck dead by lightning during a thunderstorm two weeks earlier. All three women were seriously burnt one died enroute to hospital. This event was described as a ritual sacrifice for the entire community Witchcraft and Policing in South Africa:

Kenny Leluma, influential president of the ANC-ruled Local Government Managers Association, said he “was beginning to hate all white people” and that you never saw white people living in shacks whites must leave South Africa

above: Kenny Leluma, president of Local Government Managers Asn  – Kenny Leluma , president of the influential Local Government Managers association iLGM, was quoted as saying that he "was beginning to hate all white people. This is a very influential ANC-linked public servant and government official, in charge of all the municipal officials countrywide as the president of the ANC-linked Local government managers association.  He was photographed with two Australian guests, Australian Mark McKenzie-McHarg, and Jim Elvey, CEO, Local Government Managers Australia LGMA during a break after the Management Challenge workshop in Port Elizabeth. .

  • YAfrikanersPoorWhitesPretoriaNorthBackyardSquatterCampsYou never see whites live in shacks said Leluma:

  • as quoted in The EP Herald by journalists Neil and Janine Oelofse: He Leluma asked why he should resign from Bitou in order to help Ventersdorp. ratepayers objected to having to pay him a double-salary.  Leluma commented that only the Democratic Alliance was making a “big issue” out of his deployment and that nobody in Bitou had complained when the central government had pledged R1,2-billion for development in the Garden Route municipality. In an emotional tirade, Leluma was also quoted as saying that “whites” wanted to see the ANC fail: “I have had enough. Every day. I cannot keep answering these questions … I am honestly starting to hate white people. They are not in this country to build. You never see whites living in shacks, and we will go and help those people who need help. Honestly, I am starting to agree with those who feel the whites must leave South Africa and go to Europe or even Australia. If residents were not happy with the way the ANC ran Plettenberg Bay, they should “vote us out”, Leluma said.

  • ANC SLOGAN KILL THE BOERE KILL THE FARMER This ANC- struggle-slogan” above calls for the murder of all whites i.e. “Boers” and is still widely chanted in South Africa today. When the words Kill the Farmer are added, they call specifically for the murder of all Afrikaner whites.

Boer is a genetic term used by black South Africans to indicate all whites not solely for Afrikaner agrculturalists. The ANC-slogan: Kill the Boere Kill the farmer was officially chanted by Nelson Mandela and every one of his followers during the struggle against apartheid before 1994. And while it was officially declared hate speech in 2006 by the SA Human Rights Commission it stil in 2010, is widely chanted and used at many public rallies by pro-ANC members specifically. In a macabre displaythis slogan also was painted in the blood of two Afrikaner victims on the walls of a homestead in the Free State on March 6 2009 where Odendaalsrust farm residents Alice and her daughter Helen Lotter, 77 and 57 years old and both frail were subjected to hours of excruciating torture: glass shards were stabbed into their vaginas and anuses, one of the womens breasts were partially sliced off while she was still alive, and then they were slowly strangled in six-hours of torture. One of the women survived but died of her trauma in hospital later. This slogan  thus clearly has a powerful effect in South Africa: more than 3700 mostly Afrikaans-speaking rural residents have been murdered since 1987 in such vicious attacks on South African homesteads and peri-urban smallholdings. Over the past three years especially that same slogan is often also heard being shouted against Afrikaner victims while they are being attacked by armed black male gangs in suburbean areas, the victims report.

Can whites still get fair trials in South Africa with such biased black judges?   TWO EXAMPLES

Above:  Northern Cape Judge Frans Kgomo, whose Supreme Court guilty-ruling in the murder-trial of an Afrikaner was quashed by a unanimous bench of the Supreme Court of Appeals in Bloemfontein in 2009 — which had ruled that Kgomo had shown extreme anti-Afrikaner racial prejudice and had thus unduly influenced the course of the white mans murder trial . Five of the Supreme Court of appeal courts judges, led by Judge Nathan Ponnan, ruled unanimously that Judge Kgomos approach to the Afrikaner defendant Joseph le Granges murder trial was "certainly suggestive of one who has certain preconceived biases and allows those biases to affect his judgment". Judge Kgomo, who had been put forward by the Judicial Service Commission JSC as a possible Constitutional Court justice post and at this time, was serving as an acting Supreme Court of Appeal judge, had in their unanimous view, “breached the most primary canons of good judicial behaviour" and “virtually taken over as a prosecutor in the case,  they said. This judge s previous rulings also now are causing the widespread anglication of many northern Cape schools a region which still is primarily Afrikaans-speaking.

Above is Pretoria High Court judge Nkola “F..k the Boer Motata who on September 2 2009 was found guilty by the Johannesburg Magistrates court of drunk driving: his recorded anti-white curses made international headlines when they were extensively aired during the two-year-long; frequently postponed trial. Magistrate Desmond Nair found that the five audio recordings together with the many photographs taken of  the Pretoria High Court judge after he d crashed his Jaguar into a Hurlingham Johannesburg wall showed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol

  • Western Cape animal abuser deemed mentally unstable

An Ottery woman has been found guilty of animal abuse after she strangled two of her dogs to death.

Doreen Penderson appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Friday.

She claimed she tried to break up a fight between the two dogs. But the court has declared her mentally unstable.

The Cape of Good Hope Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals SPCA Andries Venter said such cases are rare.

“Human violence and animal abuse have a direct link. As a result, any person who suddenly feels frustrated or usually abuses their family, will most likely abuse their animals,” Venter said.

It is still unclear how the blaze broke out.

Netcare 911s Chris Botha said the man had to be airlifted to hospital.

“The man is still in a critical condition. He is in the specialised treatment in the Milpark Hospital and is undergoing specialised treatment at this stage,” he said.

Tiger tracker turns to rhino poaching

Mark Tennant – one of the trackers who help find Panjo the tiger – has turned his attention to rhinos.

He collected a cheque for R65,000 on Friday raised by pupils at Alberton High School.

He said on Friday the money will be used in the fight against rhino poachers and that the children raised the cash by selling R20 raffle tickets.

“It just shows you how important this is because weve got young people who havent even finished school who are concerned there will be no rhino for them to watch or their children to watch,” he said.

Tennant and friend Ian Johnson were involved in the search for Panjo, the tiger that jumped out of his owners bakkie and spent two nights on the prowl.

SABC board suspends CEO pending disciplinary hearing

The SABC said it would have to wait for the outcome of a disciplinary hearing before they can appoint a new CEO.

The national broadcasters board suspended Solly Mokoetle on Friday, pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing against him.

In the meantime, the companys CFO, Robin Nicholson, stepped in.

Mokoetle had been at loggerheads with the board about the appointment of Phil Molefe as the head of news, as well as allegations that he is guilty of financial mismanagement.

The decision was made following a meeting between the SABCs board and Mokoetle on Friday.

Formal charges were still being prepared and would be issued to him in due course.

“We do not know because it depends on how long the disciplinary process will take because they have indicated that they are asking an independent person to deal with the disciplinary process,” said SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago.
